These email templates were designed and build to be sent to customers and suppliers using the popular email marketing site Campaign Monitor.
The Queens Arms Botallack
Being on the west Cornwall coast the Queens Arms is popular with tourists as well as its very loyal band of locals. The old site was starting to look a little dated and hadn't been updated for quite a long time.
- Complete rebranding and repositioning within the marketplace
- An interactive content managed food menu system
- An events section for the local area, to bring the appeal of the site to a wider audience
- An interactive photo gallery where users can upload their own photos
We relished the task of completely rebranding and remarketing the website to bring it inline with modern expectations and functionality, whilst ensuring that the traditional cornish feel was retained and celebrated. The logo was completely redesigned, as well as the "look & feel" of the site, which was then completely rewritten using the open source CMS system, Drupal.

Contractor UK
This is the website for Contractor UK, a huge source of information for contractors from a number of industries. Rebuilt in the CMS Drupal 7, the site also boasts a number of online calculators for calculations such as dividend tax, corporation tax and IR35.
- Complete Drupal 6 rebuild
- A number of calculators built using PHP and JavaScript
- MySQL database containing various data pertaining to the site including fixed variables for the calculators that can be changed by admin users
- A daemonized CURL based engine written as a module, to pull jobs relevant to a search from a number of affiliated job search sites such as Technojobs, CWJobs, JobServe and The IT Job Board
This project consisted of a complete rebuild and the addition of new developments including a CURL based contact search wizard module and full content management system.

My Body
My Body is a health, nutrition and fitness site that aims to bring the best and most credible scientific information and research in the fields of nutrition,health and training to it's users.
- Built using the Drupal 7 CMS framework

- An article management system to make it easy for editors to create, update and delete articles from the system
- Full PHPList email marketing integration
Fully built in Drupal 7 the site includes a fully content managed system an article manager for the My-Articles section as well as a calorie counter.

This is the official site of the band a-ha. Most famous in the UK for their song "Take on me" released in 1985. This site was built in a freelance web developer capacity for Aspire Design Studios in London.
- Design built from a series of PSD files into a custom Wordpress theme
- Creation of the multilingual news section including an administration system for users to read and submit articles in various languages
- Development of the front and back end plugins for the tour management section.
- Coding of the flexible and animated discography section using javascript frameworks such as jQuery and Mootools
This project consisted of the creation of a Wordpress based website from a series of flat PSD files. As well as creating bespoke themes for Wordpress, a number of plugins were also developed for the Wordpress framework.

This is the new e-commerce site for Bean Bag Crazy who sell their own range of beanbags, merchandise and other accessories. This site was built in a freelance web developer capacity for The Code Pharmacy

This project consisted of the creation of a Magento based website from a series of flat PSD files. A custom theme, layout XML, pages and blocks were added, the front end developed and the back end configured to best suit the clients needs.

The Red Lion
This is the website for The Red Lion in Water End, near Berkhampstead in Hertfordshire. The Red Lion is a modern interpretation of the original public house. This site was built in a freelance capacity with Synthesis Design

The Pitch
This is the website for The Pitch film competition which took place in 2009. Prospective film-makers were given the opportunity to make a short film with professional production support. Winners were flown to Hollywood and introduced to film industry professionals to advise them on taking their skills to the next level. The project was taken on a freelance basis with Redder Ltd.

This is the website for Technojobs, one of the largest online recruitment specialists for the technical and creative industries throughout Europe. Written in a freelance capacity directly with client.
- Ongoing development of new sections to keep up with the fluidity of the jobs market
- Large object orientated code base with constant updates to keep the site secure and ensure it's smooth running
- Extremely large database of jobs and personal details which requires regualar maintenance and optimisation
- Creation of a jobs by email section to run daily and inform users of any new jobs which may be of interest to them
- Linux based system to daemonise tasks into engines and run in memory to avoid server slowdown

This is the website for Tring Rugby club in Hertfordshire. One of the south-easts most sucessful amateur rugby union clubs. This site was built in a freelance capacity with Synthesis Design

This is the website for Freelance UK, a huge source of information for freelancers from a number of creative industries as well as a section for people to advertise themselves and for businesses to find freelancers to assist them on projects. Written in a freelance capacity directly with client.

This project consisted of various updates and new developments including a messaging system for registered and anonymous users to use. Other developments include location and alphabetical filters and added functionality to the profile section.
